The Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA), an international sustainability membership body, faced poor service from its existing web developers, hindering its growth and ability to manage its 15,500 members. IEMA approached vendor Cursor to build a new business-critical website and integrated systems, including application forms, payment processing, and a member portal, all needing to launch simultaneously.

Cursor successfully delivered a comprehensive solution using Craft CMS and Node.js, which included a responsive website, integrated application and payment systems, a self-serve member area, and a private staff management hub. The project was launched on time in August 2020 after over 2,500 hours of work. This allowed IEMA to seamlessly manage membership administration and payments at scale, with all systems fully integrated into their Microsoft Dynamics and Sage software.
