School District of Waukesha boosts Grades 3–5 math proficiency with Curriculum Associates in 2023–2024

The School District of Waukesha (SDW) sought to improve mathematics outcomes and strengthen instructional coherence across its K-5 classrooms. To address this challenge, the district partnered with Curriculum Associates and implemented its i-Ready Classroom Mathematics curriculum.

Curriculum Associates supported the implementation with districtwide professional learning and collaborative coaching. Educators used the program's Teacher's Guide and integrated i-Ready assessment data to align instruction. This solution drove notable gains, with SDW seeing continued growth in the percentage of Grades 3–5 students scoring Meeting and Advanced on the Wisconsin Forward Exam in the 2023-2024 school year.
