MANGOPAY, founded in 2012, is a payments platform for marketplaces and crowdfunding that supports over 700 customers across 22 countries. To expand beyond the Eurozone it faced the costly, time-consuming task of building banking relationships and multi-currency rails, so it turned to Currencycloud and its cloud-based Payment Engine to accelerate international payments capability.

Currencycloud implemented its easy-to-embed Payment Engine, enabling MANGOPAY to offer payments in 28 countries, transparent conversion across 30 currencies and SWIFT payouts to 212 countries, with integration completed by a single developer in weeks. As a result, MANGOPAY rapidly scaled its global reach, added new features and tailor-made solutions, and now executes almost 11,000 Currencycloud-powered international transfers per month while expanding into markets such as the UK, Scandinavia and the US.
