Avolta, the world's largest airport-based travel retailer, sought to expand its customer base and improve personalization through its 'Red by Dufry' loyalty program. To achieve this, they faced the challenge of enabling a global gift card and voucher solution and establishing connectivity with key airline and hotel partners. They selected Currency Alliance to provide its white label solutions to streamline these operations and facilitate their go-to-market roadmap.

Currency Alliance implemented its account linking solution to connect Avolta's loyalty program with partners like IAG Loyalty, allowing British Airways and Iberia customers to securely link their Avios accounts without divulging credentials. The vendor also hosted the program's mobile wallet. This solution enabled Avios members to seamlessly redeem points for vouchers and automatically earn points on purchases, with transactions processed via Currency Alliance's API in seconds.
