A Curity Case Study
Shell Energy, a rapidly growing UK energy and broadband provider, needed to evolve its identity infrastructure to support a microservices architecture and secure customer onboarding at scale. To meet these requirements, it turned to Curity and the Curity Identity Server to build a flexible, product-agnostic digital identity mechanism based on open standards.
With Curity’s Identity Server, Shell Energy centralized identity and access management, enabled SSO across web and mobile apps, supported MFA and account linking, and streamlined provisioning and user management. The new platform also integrated modern OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect-based applications and microservices, helping Shell Energy issue customizable tokens and enforce API access as it modernized its digital platform.
