Bankdata, a Danish IT provider for nine banks, needed to modernize its banking technology while meeting new PSD2 and GDPR requirements and supporting growing API use in its mobile app. To address the need for stronger identity management alongside its existing API management setup, Bankdata turned to Curity and the Curity Identity Server.

Curity delivered an improved identity infrastructure with support for banking-grade security, including HSM-backed JWT signing, FAPI features, dynamic client registration, and CI/CD-friendly configuration management via RESTCONF. The result was a modernized, standards-based setup that worked with Apigee and reused Bankdata’s existing HSM, helping Bankdata comply with regulations more safely while reducing development and maintenance effort.
