Tuscarawas Economic Development Corporation, the county’s single point of contact for economic development, needed a better way to coordinate work across three organizations, five boards, and nearly 300 people. As responsibilities expanded from board management into business retention, workforce development, and business attraction, communication, scheduling, and document control became increasingly difficult. Cureo’s platform was used to help organize this complex structure.
With Cureo, the organization set up channels for boards, committees, subgroups, and external stakeholders, used events to manage meetings and attendance, and relied on document sharing to distribute agendas, minutes, and other materials by group. Cureo also became a central repository for audit content and a tool for sending newsletters through news articles, improving transparency, visibility, and communications across the three organizations. The result was more efficient document sharing and stakeholder communication, plus faster, more efficient audits for nearly 300 people involved.
