NFI Industries, a leader in end-to-end supply chain solutions, sought to support the mental health and productivity of its large workforce. The company partnered with CuraLinc Healthcare to utilize its comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to address a wide array of employee concerns, including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
CuraLinc Healthcare implemented its EAP, which includes confidential assessments and short-term counseling, and used clinically validated tools to measure outcomes. The results for NFI Industries were significant, with 74% of employees reporting improved productivity and 95% reporting satisfaction with the program. The vendor, CuraLinc, measured substantial improvements in specific areas, including an 82% improvement rate for depression, an 80% improvement rate for anxiety, and a 90% reduction in risk for employees with alcohol use concerns. Absenteeism also dropped dramatically, with employees missing 5.4 fewer hours of work on average.
