Design Within Reach, a modern home décor retailer known for making authentic design accessible, wanted to refresh its decade-old Champagne Chair Contest to better engage fans and modernize the entry experience. The challenge was to revive the campaign for a social media–savvy audience and streamline submissions while maintaining brand aesthetics and capturing audience data.

DWR partnered with Curalate’s Fanreel to integrate user-generated Instagram content into the ecommerce site, enable easy submissions and moderation, collect emails, and track performance with a unified dashboard. The revamped contest generated over 1 million Instagram impressions, a 238% rise in engagement (more than 9,700 likes and comments) and a 32% increase in followers, while creating ongoing audience insights to inform future campaigns.
