Tom Aliotti Designed and Built by Fishermen for Fishermen

Aliotti Enterprizes, led by Tom Aliotti, needed a Bristol Bay gillnetter built to perform within the strict 32-foot limit while balancing speed, load-carrying ability, and rough-weather handling. The project used Cummins QSC8.3-liter engines, and the boat had to be tailored to the specific fishing demands of Bristol Bay.

Cummins powered the custom 32-foot Mariola with twin QSC8.3-liter 493-HP engines, helping Aliotti achieve a fast, highly functional fishing boat with 13 RSW holds and capacity for up to 20,000 pounds of sockeye salmon. On sea trials, the Mariola reached 36 knots, and the design delivered strong loaded performance and efficient fishing operations, with Aliotti noting he could still get up on plane with 16,000 pounds of water onboard.
