Thai Waters - Customer Case Study

Thai Waters, a diving operator in Thailand, wanted to build a high-capacity dive support vessel that could comfortably serve 30 divers plus crew while operating across both the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. To meet this challenge, Thai Waters selected Cummins propulsion and power solutions, including a pair of 400-HP Cummins NTA855-M main engines and Cummins 6BTA-powered generators for onboard electrical demands.

Cummins helped equip the new 28.8-by-7.5-meter vessel, named *Summer*, with reliable propulsion, auxiliary power, and support for dive-focused operations such as air conditioning, compressor systems, equipment stowage, and RIB launch capability. The result is a purpose-built dive boat designed to provide year-round service in Thailand’s seasonal diving regions, improving comfort, capacity, and operational flexibility for guests and crew.
