Stanford Marine - Customer Case Study

Stanford Marine, the vessel owning and operating arm of Stanford Marine Group, was expanding its offshore fleet rapidly in the Middle East and Southeast Asia and needed reliable marine power and propulsion systems for six new 58-meter multi-purpose supply vessels. Cummins supplied the engines and generators for the vessels, including main propulsion, emergency power, and fire-fighting support equipment.

Cummins delivered a suite of marine engines for the newbuilds, including KTA19-M diesels for the generators, a KTA38-M1 for the fire-fighting system, and QSK60-M engines for main propulsion. The solution supported the addition of six Dynamic Positioning-capable vessels, helping Stanford Marine grow its fleet to nearly 40 vessels and strengthen its position in the offshore industry.
