Case Study: Camas achieves reliable standby power for lift stations with Cummins generators

A Cummins Case Study

Preview of the Camas Case Study

Standby power generators add reliability, easy maintenance to new lift stations

Camas, an ecologically sensitive city in Washington, needed a reliable way to protect its upgraded sewage collection system from backup during utility outages. To support its new and retrofitted lift stations, the city turned to Cummins for standby power generator solutions.

Cummins supplied seven diesel standby generators ranging from 20 kW to 200 kW, along with open transition transfer switches and sound-attenuated enclosures tailored for each lift station. The pre-engineered package improved reliability, simplified installation and maintenance, and helped Camas keep pumping safely even when grid power was unavailable.
