Siam Commercial Bank in Bangkok, Thailand, needed a highly reliable prime power solution for its Tier 3 data center to meet stringent international standards and achieve 99.982% uptime. The bank also had a tight six-month project turnaround and required strong after-service support, so it turned to Cummins for an integrated power system.

Cummins delivered a 6.4MW prime power solution using four C2250D5 generator sets powered by QSK60G4 engines, along with a DMC 1000 PowerCommand paralleling system and switchgear. The pre-integrated system was managed from concept to commissioning by Cummins DKSH, helping the bank cut running costs by 9.5%, reduce commissioning cost by 2%, and achieve actual downtime of less than one hour per year.
