Shipyard Vittoria - Customer Case Study

Shipyard Vittoria built the **Alfredo**, a 60-meter general cargo and heavy lift vessel for marine works and dredging operator LMD. The customer needed a powerful, highly versatile propulsion and onboard power package for a vessel designed to carry heavy bulk loads, operate a large deck crane, and support demanding cargo-handling duties.

**Cummins** supplied the solution with a set of marine engines, led by two **KTA50 M2** main propulsion engines delivering 1,600 HP each at 1,800 RPM. Cummins also provided six additional engines for generators, thrusters, emergency power, and the crane, giving the vessel the performance and redundancy it needed for maximum productivity; the ship was delivered and entered service ready for work.
