Romania’s state-of-the-art Omnilogic Data Center selects Cummins Power Generation

Omnilogic Systems, Inc. needed highly reliable emergency backup power for its new state-of-the-art Tier 4 data center in Otopeni, Romania, where uninterrupted operation was critical to protect hosted data and support financial and telecom customers. To meet this challenge, the company selected Cummins Power Generation, including three C1100 D5B generator sets and a PowerCommand® PCC 3100 paralleling system.

Cummins Power Generation installed the standby power solution so the generators would start automatically during any grid failure, ensuring no interruption to the data center’s operations and helping prevent data loss. The system reinforced Omnilogic’s reputation as one of Romania’s safest data centers and supported its growth plans, with the headquarters designed to allow the data center floor area to double from 1,500 m2 to 3,000 m2.
