Poultry Feed Business Expands With Costefficient Gas Power Solution

ACI Godrej Agrovet Private Limited, a joint venture between ACI Group and Godrej Group, was expanding its poultry feed business in Sirajganj, Bangladesh and needed a more fuel-efficient, reliable power solution with a low total cost of ownership. Cummins supported the project with a cogeneration setup using lean burn gas generator sets and PowerCommand® 3300 control.

Cummins installed two QSK60G gas generators—1 x C1540N5CC and 1 x C1200N5C—delivering a total of 2.7MW, along with an exhaust gas powered boiler with 1.8-ton capacity to reuse waste heat for steam generation. The solution improved fuel savings, lowered emissions, and supported continuous 24/7 operation at more than 85% load, while also reducing operating and maintenance costs through long service intervals and strong local support.
