Poultry Farm go on producing riding on Cummins Power Generation

Laemthong Farm, part of Laemthong Sahakarn Corporation in Thailand, needed reliable and cost-effective power support for its poultry operations, including ventilation fans and backup systems. Vendor Cummins supplied prime and standby generator systems, including C11D5, C17D5, C550D5E, and C1250D5A gensets, to help the farm meet its operational power requirements while staying within budget and reducing noise and maintenance concerns.

Cummins worked with the customer to test the generator sets for fan loads, lightning interference, and low-noise performance, then completed planning, testing, and installation over four months in 2010. The result was more reliable power, fewer operational breakdowns, better manpower efficiency, and lower operating costs, with improved fuel efficiency compared with the farm’s existing Chinese generator sets.
