New University Hospital, part of Okan University’s Akfirat Campus in Istanbul, Turkey, needed a reliable emergency standby power system for its new 250-bed Health Science Education Complex. The hospital required a partner that could deliver a turnkey solution with quick response, expert assistance, and customized enclosures to fit strict noise and space constraints.
Cummins supplied and installed three custom-enclosed C1675 D5 generator sets and one factory-enclosed C38 D5, along with a synchronisation panel and ancillary equipment. Cummins also managed the project from start to finish, including layout and sizing support, concrete foundations, and local coordination, resulting in a fully tailored standby power system for the hospital’s critical operations.
