New Patrol Boat for Indonesia

PT Dumas Tanjung Perak Shipyard built a new patrol boat, the Hiu Macan Tutul 401, for the Indonesian Department of Kelautan Dan Perikanan. The customer needed a capable coastal enforcement vessel with enough accommodation and propulsion for patrol operations. Cummins provided the marine engines for the project, using its QSK60-M product line.

Cummins equipped the vessel with two QSK60-M engines, each rated at 2,500 HP at 1,900 RPM, paired with Twin Disc MGX 5600 gears. The resulting 42.5-meter patrol boat offers accommodation for up to 18 people and delivers the power needed for Indonesian government duties. The Cummins solution helped create a high-performance patrol vessel with strong marine propulsion capability.
