MEVA Energy - Customer Case Study

MEVA Energy, a Swedish clean-energy company, wanted to commercialize its cyclone gasifier technology to produce community heat and power from biogas in a CO2-neutral way. To support this challenge, Cummins supplied a turnkey gas-fueled generator set solution, including a QSV91 N5C1750 LBTU generator set with remote monitoring, GCPII control, gas train, exhaust silencers, and supply dump radiators.

Cummins worked closely with MEVA Energy to integrate the generator set into a compact commercial CHP plant in Hortlax, Sweden. The result was an operational facility that provides 2.4 MW of district heating and 1.3 MW of electricity to the grid, with automatic operation and the ability to run up to 4,200 hours per year, helping MEVA Energy validate a platform it aims to market worldwide.
