A Cummins Case Study
Likuliku Lagoon Resort, a luxury island resort on Malolo Island, Fiji, was struggling with unreliable and disruptive power from its aging generators. Frequent outages, overheating, noise, and difficult control were interrupting essential resort operations, so the team turned to Cummins for a more dependable prime power solution using generator sets and a digital controller.
Cummins designed and installed a new power station built around three C250D5B generator sets and a DMC200 Digital Master Controller. The system automatically balances load between gensets, reduces fuel use, extends service intervals from 250 to 500 hours, and improves standby coverage, resulting in a seamless installation, better reliability, and strong aftersales support from Cummins.
