Larnaca International Airport - Customer Case Study

Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus needed a dependable standby power solution to support a major 650 million euro expansion and ensure airport operations would continue uninterrupted during any blackout. Cummins was selected to help address the increased power demands of the enlarged terminal with a turnkey standby power system.

Cummins supplied nine generator sets ranging from 250 kVA to 1400 kVA, along with remote monitoring and Building Management System control, to provide reliable backup power across the airport. The solution supported the new terminal’s critical systems and passenger services, helping Larnaca International Airport expand capacity to 7.5 million passengers a year, with further growth planned.
