Laguna International Industrial Park - Customer Case Study

Laguna International Industrial Park’s customer in this case study is CTP Construction and Mining Corporation, which operates a nickel ore mine in Surigao del Sur, Philippines. To support its marine transport needs, the company took delivery of a new landing craft, Sir Carlo, powered by Cummins KTA19-M3 marine diesel engines.

Cummins supplied a pair of six-cylinder KTA19-M3 engines, each rated at 600 hp at 1800 RPM, paired with ZF W650 gears and 1727 mm propellers. The result was a 70.59-meter landing craft with a three-meter draft capable of reaching 10 knots, providing a reliable marine transport solution for mining operations.
