Innopolis Wrocław - Customer Case Study

Innopolis Wrocław, part of the Wrocław Technology Park in Poland, needed a trigeneration solution to support a new 18,000 m² complex of laboratories, offices, and a data center with reliable electricity, heat, and cooling. The project had to meet substantial site demands while fitting the park’s expansion plans, and the customer chose Cummins to provide the core power generation equipment.

Cummins supplied two 1400 kW 1400GQKC natural gas generator sets with PowerCommand PCC 3300 controls, integrated into a trigeneration facility by Wapeco and Horus Energia. The system now delivers 2,800 kW of electricity, 3,120 kW of heat, and 2,200 kW of cooling, covering 65% of the site’s electric demand and 106% of its heat and chill demand while operating for about 8,000 hours per year. The result was a cost-effective, reliable energy solution that met the site’s needs and integrated with the building management system.
