Indusign - Customer Case Study

Indusign, an engineering company based in Adegem near Ghent, Belgium, needed a dependable prime power source for its E-Cranes used in demanding bulk material handling operations. The challenge was to secure reliable, efficient generator sets that could perform in remote and difficult working conditions, while also supporting the company’s need for flexibility and strong service backing from Cummins.

Cummins supplied two enclosed C400D5 generator sets with NTA855-G4 engines and one enclosed C500D6 with a QSX15-G8 engine, along with engineering support, custom modifications, commissioning, and testing. The solution gave Indusign a reliable prime power system with shore-power switching, remote monitoring, and other tailored features, helping its E-Cranes operate efficiently under heavy-duty production cycles and harsh environments.
