A Cummins Case Study
CalBank, one of Ghana’s leading banks, needed a dependable standby power solution for its head office in Accra to keep its banking hall and data center running during outages. Cummins provided the bank with high-quality backup power equipment to meet its always-on operations requirements.
Cummins implemented two C900D5 standby generator sets, a 4,000 A automatic transfer switch, noise-attenuating enclosure, and fully automated fuel system with bulk and day tanks. The synchronized generators deliver 1,800 kVA of backup power while minimizing fuel and maintenance costs, and the project was completed in 16 weeks, giving CalBank reliable standby power with low noise levels and improved uptime.
