Case Study: Hardi achieves higher sprayer performance and lower total cost of ownership with Cummins Performance Series

A Cummins Case Study

Preview of the Hardi Case Study

Hardi looks to the future with Cummins Performance Series

Hardi, a sprayer manufacturer, needed an engine range that could deliver strong performance and fuel efficiency while fitting both Stage IIIA and Stage V requirements across its self-propelled sprayer lineup. The company also wanted a simpler integration process, one space claim, and more packaging flexibility for multiple machine platforms.

Cummins supplied B4.5, B6.7 and L9 Performance Series engines, tailored to Hardi’s operational needs and supported by the EGR-free Single Module™ aftertreatment system. The solution brought up to 20% lighter and 40% smaller aftertreatment, a 30% increase in top rated power for the B6.7, and a 13% increase in peak torque for the L9, improving machine capability, productivity, and total cost of ownership.
