G-Drive Engines Fit the Bill at King Faisal Airbase, Saudi Arabia

Three Palms Trees, a general contractor in Saudi Arabia, needed prime power for a project at King Faisal Airbase in Tabouk. The company was evaluating generator set options, including Cummins and Caterpillar, and required 10 MVA of reliable power in harsh desert conditions, complete with canopies and a synchronizing panel.

Cummins, through official OEM PIMco, supplied five 2000 kVA QSK60-G4 generator sets with LSA51.2M60, sound proofing, and synchronizing/totalizing panels. Cummins also supported installation supervision and operator training. The solution was delivered on time, has operated for more than 2,000 hours, and has left Three Palms Trees fully satisfied with the durability and reliability of the Cummins G-Drive engines.
