A Cummins Case Study

Preview of the Kubota Case Study

Cummins steps in to provide power and reliability for Kubota's biggest tractor ever

Kubota, a major tractor manufacturer, needed a powerful, reliable engine for its largest tractor ever, the M8, to meet demand for higher-horsepower work in large utility and mid-size row crop applications. To support this challenge, Kubota turned to Cummins and its B6.7 Performance Series engine.

Cummins supplied a 180 hp or 200 hp B6.7 engine with no-EGR design and Holset VGT turbocharger, helping Kubota deliver strong performance, improved fuel efficiency, and lower ownership costs. The result was Kubota’s M8 tractor, built for productivity, comfort, and reliability while meeting Tier 4 Final and EU Stage V emissions standards.
