Preview of the Meezan Bank Case Study

Cummins Power Generation powers bank HQ in Karachi

Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s largest Islamic bank, needed reliable standby power for its new head office building in Karachi to protect against load shedding and support daily operations. To meet this challenge, Cummins Power Generation supplied an automated backup power solution using three C1100 D5 generator sets and one C550 D5, managed by a DMC 1000 Load Management Panel.

Cummins Power Generation implemented a fully integrated system with automated synchronization, load sharing, load management, and Building Management System integration. The solution delivers 2,200 kVA of total power, supports 4–5 hours of daily operation, and was selected for its competitive price, reliability, low fuel consumption, low noise, and strong after-sales support, helping Meezan Bank power its expanding headquarters efficiently.
