Cummins Arabia saves $7,112.97 in Q4 with Cummins BESS

Cummins Arabia, the Cummins branch in Dubai, faced the challenge of reducing diesel generator runtime during peak hours, lowering fuel consumption, and cutting on-site emissions at its Al Quoz facility. To address this, Cummins implemented its own Cummins C400B5ZE Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), a 422 kWh / 200 kW unit, to enhance energy management and move towards its sustainability goals.

The solution from Cummins provided a reliable, standalone power source that operated during peak consumption hours. The results were significant, including a net cost savings of $7,112.97 in Q4 2025 from reduced diesel consumption and lower maintenance costs. The system saved 5,443.5 liters of diesel and reduced generator runtime by 382 hours in that quarter alone, while also substantially lowering on-site noise pollution.
