MilliporeSigma boosts CHOZN® titer with Culture Biosciences

MilliporeSigma partnered with Culture Biosciences to address the challenge of expanding its upstream development capacity beyond the limits of its in-house bioreactor resources. The customer needed to run large-scale Design of Experiments (DOE) campaigns without investing in additional internal infrastructure or headcount.

Using Culture Biosciences' Nexxys upstream development service and cloud-connected bioprocessing platform, MilliporeSigma was able to conduct high-throughput experiments. The solution delivered robust, reproducible performance gains, including significant increases in final titer for multiple CHOZN® cell lines. Culture Biosciences' platform also provided continuous remote access to real-time process data, and the customer successfully achieved comparable titer increases when scaling up the process at their own facility.
