RamSoft, a Toronto-based healthcare SaaS company, needed a way to deliver a truly native embedded analytics experience for its Root product while maintaining compatibility with Microsoft Azure Synapse and giving users a highly customizable, secure interface. Existing BI tools felt too rigid and cluttered with irrelevant features, making it difficult to support RamSoft’s multi-tenant healthcare data and user-specific access needs.

Cube Dev provided the solution with Cube Cloud’s universal semantic layer, generated data models, security context evaluation, and pre-aggregations, which RamSoft connected to through the SQL API. With Cube Dev, RamSoft’s team of three front-end engineers and one data engineer built its initial React embedded analytics app in just two weeks, launched ahead of schedule, and later migrated smoothly to Microsoft Fabric by simply updating the database connection.
