Cellgate, a leading manufacturer of remote gate access control systems, faced challenges in providing timely notifications and managing firmware updates for its subscription-based service. Their existing infrastructure lacked the scalability and availability needed, leading to networking issues for property owners. To modernize their application and automate processes, they partnered with vendor CTG.

CTG implemented a multi-cloud solution utilizing both Microsoft Azure and AWS. This new platform featured auto-scaling, a microservice architecture, and serverless compute to enhance performance. Specifically, AWS IoT Core was used to support new LoRaWAN-based devices. As a result of CTG's solution, Cellgate achieved 100% enabled reporting, 95% increased data accuracy, and 90% detailed logging with remote debugging capabilities.
