Leading Online Marketing Company, a global online marketing firm, was struggling with slow, limited legacy MySQL databases and log systems that couldn’t keep up with growing analytical demands. The company needed a faster, more scalable way to analyze search ad placement, keyword queries, and click-through behavior to improve customer insights and campaign reporting, and turned to cStor for help.
cStor recommended and implemented a Hadoop-based Enterprise Data Lake solution, supported by Cloudera Manager, a 10-node Hadoop cluster, and Apache Kafka for event streaming. The result was a highly scalable Big Data platform with more than 100TB of storage in under 12U of rack space, enabling centralized data collection and processing, deeper customer and campaign insights, and faster analytics with added redundancy through replication to a second cluster in Europe.
