A CSI NuPoint Case Study

Using Teller Capture to Create Efficiency, Enhance Service

CedarStone Bank, a $168M community bank in Lebanon, Tennessee, wanted to streamline retail/deposit operations and go "ticketless" after discovering its previous teller capture still required as many as 12 separate tickets and forced tellers to work overtime. To improve efficiency and customer service in a competitive market, CedarStone selected CSI NuPoint’s Teller Capture solution.

CSI NuPoint implemented Teller Capture with a signature pad and electronic journal to create virtual tickets and process transactions in real time. The change eliminated all but one paper ticket, practically removed ticket purchase and storage costs, reduced overtime (tellers now typically leave within about 10 minutes of close), sped research and error resolution, and enabled posting up through closing so posting times match business hours—improving both operational efficiency and customer service.
