Efficient Technology Fosters Astonishing Growth

Consumers National Bank in Minerva, Ohio, faced the common community-bank challenge of driving growth while limiting IT and operations overhead. In 2007 the bank decided to outsource its core processing and selected CSI NuPoint (CSI’s NuPoint core and related services) to consolidate systems, streamline account processing and reduce IT risk.

CSI NuPoint implemented NuPoint core plus modules like Card Management, NuPoint Teller Capture, NuMonitor, CenterDoc and NuPoint Reporter, enabling process consolidation and front-line efficiencies. The results: a ~122% increase in assets (from $205M to $456M), loan production rising from about $10M to $75M annually, assets per employee up 93%, a reduction of roughly nine IT/operations/bookkeeping positions, and the addition of three branches and two loan centers—delivering measurable growth, lower IT risk and a more seamless customer experience with CSI NuPoint.
