Home Bank, a mutual community bank in Martinsville, Indiana founded in 1890, wanted to boost customer service, increase revenue and improve operational efficiency. To achieve this, the bank converted to the CSI NuPoint core processing solution (including CSI’s integrated Digital and Mobile Banking) in August 2014.
CSI NuPoint delivered a NuPoint core conversion plus integrated Internet and Mobile Banking and analytics, driving measurable improvements: assets rose 4.5%, efficiency ratio fell 14.5%, return on equity increased 174% and return on assets increased 190%. Digital adoption surged—over 3,000 customers signed on in the first week, Internet Banking users grew to more than 5,000 (web usage +30%) and mobile activity jumped 250% with about 4,000 users—while CSI NuPoint supported implementation, training and reporting to accelerate adoption.
