Domestic and General cuts RPG process time from 37 hours to under 30 with CSI Ltd

Domestic and General (D&G) faced challenges with its aging and costly legacy storage technology, which created operational risk and limited its capabilities. The company partnered with vendor CSI Ltd to undertake a technology refresh of its storage infrastructure to improve performance, security, and capacity.

CSI implemented a new IBM FlashSystem 7300 storage solution with NVMe FlashCore Modules and refreshed the SAN fabric with Brocade Gen 7 switches. This provided D&G with enhanced security features like immutable copies, faster performance, and greater capacity. The results were significant, including a reduction of a critical RPG process from 37 hours to under 30 hours. CSI also delivered a more secure and resilient system with improved recovery capabilities.
