The Oklahoma Accountancy Board (OAB) oversees the regulation of accounting professionals in Oklahoma but was hampered by fragmented legacy systems (ARSYS and CANSYS) that held roughly 1,000 active candidates, 12,000 practicing CPAs/PAs and 1,000 public accounting firms. Key challenges included consolidation of master data, integration with NASBA / PeopleSoft / ok.gov, inefficient business processes, lack of online application/renewal capabilities, and limited management tracking. OAB engaged CSDC Inc to address these issues using the AMANDA enterprise licensing management platform.

CSDC Inc implemented AMANDA to consolidate OAB’s master data into a single configurable database, automate the licensing renewal process, add secure online application and renewal functionality, integrate with external systems, track continuing education and certification, and improve reporting and business intelligence. The AMANDA deployment centralized management of roughly 14,000 licensee and firm records, streamlined workflows, reduced manual processes, improved transparency and citizen services, and provided a single enterprise platform that simplifies legislative changes and enhances management tracking.
