A CSDC Inc Case Study
The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Crown Lands Division, which administers roughly 92% of the province’s land, was operating on a legacy 1990s system that could not properly track applications, link records, or support modern land and case management needs. To modernize its processes and improve governance, the Government engaged CSDC Inc and implemented the AMANDA Case Management Solution.
CSDC Inc configured AMANDA to enforce 253 Crown Lands business rules, centralize the Registry of Crown Titles, link all records to parcels, and provide task tracking and document generation; the system went live in April 2002. As a result, the Division now processes roughly 3,000 new tenure applications annually (over 15,000 new and renewal applications overall), manages more than 89,725 active parcels, has loaded 150 years of historical title records, issued thousands of notices, generated over $9.75M in revenue, and significantly reduced regional decision times.
