The City of Surrey faced the need to replace an outdated Wang system and shorten processing times in its Land Development Department. In 2005 the City engaged CSDC Inc and implemented its AMANDA business process automation platform to modernize workflows and meet new business requirements.

CSDC Inc configured AMANDA as an end-to-end solution, using its administrator interface to rapidly reconfigure business logic during rollout; this reduced inter-office memos and phone calls, enabled system access from anywhere, and improved project tracking and to‑do management. The result was faster user adoption, checklists that doubled as training aids, and AMANDA becoming an integral part of how the City of Surrey conducts land development business.
