The City of Saint Paul needed a cost‑efficient way to offer licensing and permitting services online after a council decision blocked building an in‑house e‑government site due to high costs. CSDC Inc provided a solution using its OneStopGov e‑government service to integrate online permitting into the city’s existing website and systems.

CSDC Inc implemented a hosted OneStopGov solution that connected AMANDA to the Internet, enabling the city’s Permit Online system to process transactions and payments while maintaining city control over look, access and data. The result: the city now handles over 350 permits per month with 80% processed online, issued 10,000 permits and collected more than $1M in fees within 3.5 years (and another $1M in 1 year 8 months), and saved roughly 3,945 staff hours through self-entry and automated approvals while improving security and contractor/citizen service.
