City of Burlington, a mayoral government with 14 City Councilors, roughly 650 employees and 20 departments across 24 sites, needed to streamline its building, planning, zoning and code enforcement functions. To address these challenges the City selected CSDC Inc and its AMANDA enterprise solution to replace isolated servers and manual processes and enable shared property and permitting workflows.

CSDC Inc implemented AMANDA across Planning & Zoning, Inspection Services and Code Enforcement, integrating it with the City’s GIS and the Assessor’s mass appraisal system. The system broke down data silos into a single Property and Owner database, automated reporting and workflows, let inspectors store multiple contacts and track incidents by landlord, and reduced data-entry time and errors—improving communications, saving staff time and speeding application processing.
