Pfalzgraf Konditorei, a leading German deep‑freeze cakes and flans manufacturer with about 250 employees and capacity of up to 40,000 flans and cakes per day, needed a scalable IT solution to handle rapid expansion, ensure traceability and product quality, and optimize production workflows. Managing director Dirk Brunz selected the CSB‑System software to replace legacy processes, initially for ordering and invoicing and later across more departments.

CSB‑System implemented a suite of modules—procurement, inventory, coverage planning, production, quality management, traceability, EDI and mobile ERP—so weekly production plans automatically calculate ingredient needs from recipes, send orders to suppliers, and provide incoming‑goods staff with shelf‑life and temperature data. By enabling EAN‑128 barcode scanning with mobile data capture and centralizing goods management, CSB‑System eliminated manual data entry, strengthened traceability and quality control, and helped streamline operations to support the bakery’s high daily output.
