FRIPA, a food wholesaler in Bensheim with a 2,900 m² site and about 6,000 items (two thirds fresh), needed to serve roughly 900 customers with deliveries in under 24 hours despite high order volume and multichannel ordering. To meet these demands it adopted the CSB-System ERP, including a CSB-developed B2B online shop and advanced picking technologies.

CSB-System implemented an integrated ERP and online shop plus WLAN-connected handheld scanners for dry/refrigerated areas and a pick-by-voice solution for freezers, linking orders directly into coverage planning and inventory. The result: picking speeds and daily output have risen substantially, manual re-entries and errors are nearly eliminated (error rate close to zero), stock is updated in real time, and FRIPA reliably delivers within less than 24 hours.
