Colruyt Group Fine Food Meat, a subsidiary of the Belgian Colruyt group, faced challenges with its in-house IT system, particularly regarding traceability and adapting to pending legal changes. Their existing planning, procurement, and inventory management functionalities had also reached their limits. To address this, they turned to CSB-System AG and implemented its FACTORY ERP solution.

The CSB FACTORY ERP solution provided a fully integrated process chain, supplementing the group's central SAP system. It offered comprehensive ERP and MES functionalities, including interfaces to machines and automated data capture. This resulted in much higher productivity, quicker access to stock information, significantly reduced error rates, and seamless traceability. The implementation gave Colruyt a future-proof platform for optimization and is set to be rolled out to their other factories.
