Mobile app and wearable integration to collect longitudinal data for SISCAPA Assay Technologies

SISCAPA Assay Technologies, a biotechnology sponsor focused on high-precision protein analytics, needed a smartphone-driven way to collect daily longitudinal health data for its studies, including ePROs and blood-sampling context, without making participation cumbersome. After evaluating multiple options, they chose Crucial Data Solutions and its TrialKit platform to support a highly user-friendly, mobile-first approach that could also integrate wearable and Bluetooth device data.

With Crucial Data Solutions’ TrialKit, SISCAPA launched a study that combined daily blood sampling, mobile ePROs, and Apple Watch data into one secure cloud-based system. The team was trained quickly, built a prototype in days, and deployed in under two weeks. The result was 35 participants successfully collecting 30 to more than 600 daily samples each, with high engagement, real-time data access, reduced manual entry, and a scalable foundation for future features and device integrations.
