From Paper to Digital Study Management in Large Patient Registries for CDx Diagnostics

CDx Diagnostics, a sponsor in medical device diagnostics focused on oncology, needed to move its large registry studies away from manual paper-based processes. With more than 100,000 cases in a prior registry, the team wanted a user-friendly EDC platform with payment tracking, strong reporting, and the ability to build studies in-house, while reducing training and site burden. Crucial Data Solutions and its TrialKit platform were selected to help meet those needs.

Using TrialKit, Crucial Data Solutions enabled CDx Diagnostics to build and manage studies internally with minimal support, including mobile BYOD data entry for more than 100 doctors and role-based access for field staff. The result was cleaner data, easier study replication, improved reporting, and better payment management, with no change orders or out-of-scope issues from the original agreement. CDx Diagnostics also reported that its internal coordinator could create forms with little assistance and that the partnership with Crucial Data Solutions remained strong.
